Thank you to all who attended our 5th Anniversary Fayre we had a great community event and raised over £600 which was amazingWe are still looking forward to some summer weather and being able to enjoy our garden!The Summer Reading Challenge will soon be here so look out for information at the library and it will be good to see lots of children signing up to enjoy books over the summer. Don’t forget our monthly Coffee and Cakes Saturdays 29th June and 27th July, we look forward to seeing you there. Keeping our library open
Are you interested in becoming a trustee of the Willingdon Communitee Hub Library Trust?
Willingdon community hub library, visiting the library is free and open to everyone. It is a volunteer-run registered charity based at Coppice Avenue, Willingdon, operated by the local community since March 2019 following its closure by the council.
The Hub is a place for you to work, read, explore, discover and learn in a friendly environment. Local unpaid volunteers will help you access the books, computers, printers and DVDs. To borrow books or DVDs you will need to register as a member, to obtain your membership card please call in to the Library. Local groups hire the facilities out of library hours, for educational and recreational activities, such as book groups, language and craft groups.
